Sales Engineer


Our client is a leading producer of Software Deployment products with a network of distributors and resellers throughout Europe.

Main responsibilities:

We are seeking a technical sales engineer to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to our distributors. Responsibilities will include answering pre-sales technical questions by phone, providing on-site technical demonstrations at key customer accounts, working with evaluation customers on pilot proof-of-concept projects, conducting web-based presentations / demonstrations, and providing 2nd level post-sales technical support to our distributors.

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

Candidate should have technical understanding of TCP/IP networking and experience working with Windows NT/2000/XP Server and Workstation.
Candidate needs to have the ability to communicate technical features in terms of their benefit to audiences consisting of administrators / network technicians and MIS Directors,/ CIO's / CFO's in medium to large enterprises.

Reporting Structure:

  • Position will require about 50% time travel.
  • Initial training will take place in the USA .
  • Minimum 3 years experience required.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Fluency in additional languages desirable but not necessary.
  • Compensation will consist of base plus commission plus expenses.
