Professional Services Project Manager / Business Developer
Job Description: Based at our Dutch office and covering the region Benelux and Scandinavia. Reporting to the Regional Professional Services Manager.
Responsible for:
  • Implementation of the Software Solutions within large scale, multi-vendor projects
  • Supporting Regional PS Manager in actively developing the PS business in that region
  • Measured on:
  • Billable utilization
  • Project profitability
  • Regional revenues
  • Job entails: Manage projects at customer sites and remotely, including:
  • Definition of customer requirements
  • Writing up contracts (Statement of Work), ensuring all paperwork is in place on time
  • Setting up project implementation plans, planning and managing resources on the project, guarding milestones, troubleshooting
  • Providing technical consultancy and advice

  • Develop PS business in the region, including:
  • Supporting the Regional PS Manager in developing more substantial PS business in the region
  • Structurally working on the pipeline of PS business opportunities in the region, e.g. by holding regular pipeline discussions with sales / local partners in that region, and follow up input given
  • Improving forecast quality and reliability, e.g. by information on when decision will be taken, and on latest actions
  • Pre–Requisites: Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years complex Software Solution Implementation and Project Management experience gained within CTI or CRM environment. Project experience includes state-of-the-art technology integration in large scale, multi-vendor sites of Fortune Top 500 companies. Candidate will have to demonstrate the following:
  • Expert ‘hands on’ implementation exp. of CTI/CRM or related e-Commerce software
  • In depth technical understanding of complex, software project implementation methodology, e.g. PRINCE2
  • Sound technical expertise in at least 2 of the following areas: Software development, Network Topology, Telephony Switch Applications, Database Integration, CTI or CRM software, Web, VoIP
  • Ability to assess, manage and close projects within budget and on time
  • Good presentation, contract negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Customer focus, top level commercial understanding
  • Highly motivated, independent, pro-active and target orientated
  • Experience with working in virtual teams
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Region, often for extended assignments
  • Educated on a bachelor degree / HBO level
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch
